Jean THOUVENIN (Paris 1765ca - 1828ca) "The Citizen Retreat" "Saturday Morning going to the market" Two original etchings in the manner dotted with subjects by James Ward (London 1769 - Cheshunt 1859) and William Redmore Bigg (London 1755 - 1828), printed and published in London by the publisher Tessari at his Pall Mall address during the early 19th century. Beautiful specimens masterfully printed in color on unstructured paper, complete with the imprint of the sheet and with small margins, slightly burnished and entirely applied to the cardboard of the frame but overall in excellent general condition. Inserted in the precious original frames carefully put in order. Bibliography: Benezit "Dictionnaire des Peintres ..."
